From Start Up, to Scale Up, to Unicorn – Informed Funding Networking Seminar at The Leather Market – 28th Feb 2019

We are great at creating start ups in the UK – ranked 3rd amongst developed nations. Yet fewer than 3% of our start ups still exist after a decade and the UK falls to 13th in a league table for Scale Ups. As to Unicorns, they take some finding.

We are pleased to say we have a Panel of speakers for the evening who have succeeded (and sometimes failed) at all stages of the growth journey. They’ll share their experiences, ideas and guidance on the night.

Previously he was “Linkedin European Business Leader Of the Year and now spends lots of time helping Automotive and Mobility Technology companies, as well as investing in the area. Currently involved with E Fundamentals, Crowdstacker, University Cribs, Vector Law, Wagonex, Pedal and Car Vault.
  • Tom Brittonis Co-Founder of Syndicate Room– a business that connects ambitions investors with highly vetted startups. Every deal is led by a named professional, doing expert due diligence, investing their own capital and negotiating terms. Since founding the business, Tom and his colleagues have raised over £100,000,000 for 125 companies. He has great insight in to what works.
  • Nick Slater is a Tech Entrepreneur with a passion in building and exploring businesses that can change the world. He founded Dibbz and bootstrapped the company up to raising investment and developing a product used by millions each day.
